Comfort, or calling.

There is an easy road: fit in, numb the pain, chase the next pleasure. And there is the road the heart keeps pointing to.

I refuse to hide my pain in comfort and short-lived pleasures. It is time to be courageous. I choose authenticity over conforming. I detach from my desires in the name of love and service. I choose responsibility, sacrifice, honesty and perseverance, for such is love.

inAttentiveness

Alert and poised to respond with precision. To be wired in, yet detached, rising above the immediate to maintain a bird's-eye view. We prioritise our focus with sensitivity, remaining undistracted and ever-returning to a state of remembrance.

inIntentiveness

Purposeful and deeply rooted, refusing to be swayed by comfort or red herrings. To forge a path even when the herd deviates. We do not force ourselves upon the world; we master the art of positioning and timing. With patience, we allow the environment to work in our favour, remaining steadfast in our resolve.

inProtectiveness

True growth emerges naturally under the right conditions. It is our duty to guard these grassroots emergences from exploitation. Rejecting the ambition of conquest, we instead extend a roof over the natural, shielding it from the jealous and the greedy. Shielding by our guiding principles and harmonising the fluxing elements. Let the ill-spirited cast fire into our waters, water upon our earth, or march their metals through our fire pits; justice will be served.

Craft is the practice of the movement: the skills that turn a calling into something you can actually do. I am its first practitioner. I develop it by doing the work, refine it until it holds, and carry it to others in service. Work with me, and this is what I bring. What works becomes a blueprint, so the practice keeps growing beyond me.
